Hey friend! My name is Rachel, I am a thirty-something mom of three who loves Jesus, coffee, essential oils and the great outdoors. My mission is to share my faith and help others feel seen. You matter to me, because you matter to God.

Mental health is particularly close to my heart after I suffered with depression and anxiety following the arrival of my second and third children. I began to use essential oils in 2017 to support my emotional health and I have been amazed at their impact on our wellbeing, and led to me becoming a certified aromatherapist.

My first love (aside from Jesus) is writing and music, preferably the two combined! I have written stories, letters, blogs and songs as long as I can remember, and have had a love of music since I was a young child.

Getting outdoors has always been the best therapy for me. I am never happier than when I am in the trees or in the seas. Being in and around nature is where I feel closest to God, where I feel able to breathe. The ocean has long captured my heart; the power of the waves, the wind in your hair and the sand beneath your toes, and this is where I feel truly alive.

After years of landlocked living, we are now living our dream on the coast of South Wales. Since we moved here in September 2020, God has taken us on a whirlwind journey with our faith, family and friendships. More often than I care to admit, I have felt unseen, unheard or unloved many times throughout my life, which has led me to feel compelled to constantly pursue connection with others rather than pursue connection with my Creator. God has led me on a journey of discovery, learning who I really am, and whose I really am, and I hope to share some of my insights with you along the way.

I hope my writing encourages you where ever you are at today. Happy reading, please do get in touch by commenting on the blog or hooking up with me on social media as I would love to hear from you.
